The estate takes its name from the valley itself — La Cavalerie, meaning “mounted knights” — referring to the Knights Templar commandery that once stood here more than 800 years ago.
Emanuel Ungaro discovered the estate in ruin and transformed it into his private retreat.
Long a place of refuge for the Ungaro family and close friends, La Cavalerie has always been a place to gather and regenerate between culture and nature.
